About the Event

Join us for our annual Christmas Money Date – a warm, reflective evening to look back on your 2025 financial journey and set meaningful, confident goals for the year ahead.

As always, we’ll gather in small, facilitated groups to look back on our financial journeys from the past year – the progress, the surprises and the lessons learned. We’ll alslo set thoughtful, achievable goals for 2026.

Date: Friday, 12 December 2025

Time: 6:30-8:30pm

Price: HK$150 per person (exclude Eventbrite registration fee), inclusive of 1 drink, nibbles, great conversations and HK$50 donation to the Nesbitt Centre, the operators of Cafe 8.

This year, we’re adding something special! We’ve invited three members to share their real experiences from GJWHF$ initiatives and how that sparked a year of action: our inaugural Her Future Series cohort, the monthly 1-1 Money Mates programme and last year’s Christmas Money Date.

Together, their stories reflect a cross-section of what financial growth can look like within our community:

  • Gitanjali Pies

Gitanjali will speak from the perspective of a Gen Z trying to navigate her early career path. As a younger member of the GJWHF$ community, Gitanjali is already taking a long term view of her finances and has started her investment journey. Gitanjali will share some of the challenges of her early investment journey and how she has managed them so that she could take bolder and braver steps with more confidence. She will also share how attending the 2024 Christmas Money Date helped her set achievable goals, and participating in the monthly money dates exposed her to new perspective while keeping her focused on taking action towards achieving her goals.

  • Summer Fang

Summer will share her candid take on managing personal finances and investing as a full-time working mum juggling the realities of parenthood. She will also share how participating in the 1st cohort of GJWHF$’ Her Future Series programme helped her identify her goals and take action towards investing in her future.

  • Dr. Hayley Hunt

Hayley has been part of the GJWHF$ community for nearly three years. She started her investment journey in her mid-20s and discovered that building a habit of monthly investing not only boosted her confidence but also showed her that a steady, low-effort (and quite boring!) do-it-yourself approach really works. Hayley will also share how attending the Monthly Group Money Dates in Tai Koo has given her a supportive space to connect openly with fellow members, stay accountable to her financial goals, and learn from others’ experiences.

Expect a cosy, encouraging space to learn from each other, celebrate progress, and end the year with clarity and confidence.
