Join our team: Level up your impact on closing the gender investment gap

As a community of women committed to eradicating the gender investment gap, we support each other on our pathway towards financial freedom. As a volunteer with GJWHF$, you'll have the opportunity to join us on the frontline of this important mission and make a meaningful difference.

We are united by our determination to take control of our financial futures. We motivate each other to do this by building confidence, normalising conversations about money and, most importantly, taking action towards our investing journey. 

 

This year, we are gearing up for more Get Finance Fit events, more community Money Dates, more insightful blog articles, and more shared resources. However, as an entirely volunteer-run non-profit, to offer more opportunities to share, learn, and inspire action, we need help from our amazing community of women.

 

Whether you can offer a few hours each month or a few hours every now and then, we could use your support. There are a few different ways you can help out based on your schedule and interests.

 

JOIN OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM:

As a Lead or Co-Lead for a function, you will work directly with our Founders and fellow Chairs to drive our organisational objectives. As this is a crucial strategic role - a seat at the table - it would require a commitment of 5-10 hours per month for at least 12 months.

BECOME AN EVENT VOLUNTEER:

Maybe you are not able to commit that much time right now, but you have a bit of time up your sleeve to support event operations. Join our list of event volunteers to be notified of upcoming events that you can help plan, produce, and run.

HELP US OUT ON AN ADHOC BASIS:

If you can only spare an hour every now and then, we could definitely use the help as adhoc tasks pop up. Our Founders or Chairs may ask for your support to execute initiatives such as writing an insightful blog article, compiling reporting data, researching new ways to engage our community, or setting up new operational procedures.

AREAS OF SUPPORT:

·      Events – event producers, event operations, social media photographers, event speakers/hosts

·      Marketing – event marketing, content creation, brand communications, community growth

·      Regulatory – legal advice, compliance, governance

·      Operations – project management & admin, workplace technology, finance & payments
